In all the days that Drogheda existed, from the beginning of time, none of its inhabitants had seen darkness. For sitting at the top of the mountain, nestled in a jagged rock alcove lay Drogheda's most precious treasure. The Fire Crystal. It's brilliant rays of light encircled the Castle and all that bordered it. AIt's brilliance brought forth a warmth of light to guard against the blackness of night.
High in the Chamber of Drogheda a woman cries out in childbirth. The winds of the Irish valley howl like a wolf who has lost its mate.
A form huddles over the beautiful woman who now lays naked, drenched in sweat. Her long silky blonde hair soaked to her face and body as she writhes in her pain.......
